The Fleet Management Strategy was discussed and approved at the Strategy and Performance Board on 26th May 2015.

The Collaborative reports covered the following areas: Joint Firearms Unit Welsh Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit Regional Organised Crime Unit Joint Scientific Investigation Unit The information contained in the Collaboration report has been subjected to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Data Protection Act 1998 and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent\'s public interest test and is deemed to be exempt from publication under section 7.

The Commissioner has been asked to approve the request to adopt the Joint Engagement Strategy with the Force. The Commissioner has a statutory responsibility to obtain the views of the community as set out in the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.

The Police and Crime Commissioner commends the work of the FOI team and congratulate them on their performance of responding to all requests within the statutory timescales.

Through the project, victims of domestic abuse will be more able to protect themselves from future incidents whilst reducing the risk of perpetrator offending. This should lead to a reduction in domestic abuse and anti-social behaviour incidents within the project locations.

The intention of the project is to improve links, trust and confidence in the police and Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner amongst the established and emerging communities, with specific focus on those perceived as the hardest to reach.
