The contract is awarded under the National Framework led by Surrey Police for Provision of a Vehicle Recovery and Disposal Managed Service. Gwent Police\'s contract will be awarded for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for an additional two (2) year periods, awarded annually.

Swansea Football Club (FC) will facilitate the programme delivery whilst providing both positive role models and diversionary football activities that are designed to encourage young people into the discipline of sport and being a team player.

The contract is to be awarded for four (4) years.

The Independent Custody Visiting Scheme is a statutory Scheme under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act Part 3 Section 299 whose responsibility and oversight lies with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, in consultation with the Chief Constable.

The Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 requires the Police and Crime Commissioner to appoint a person to be head of the Commissioner's staff. A report was submitted to the Police and Crime Panel on the 15th January 2016 with the appointment endorsed at a confirmation hearing on the 22nd January 2016.

The Commissioner is required to determine the budget for 2016/17 and then set the council tax precept in consultation with the Police and Crime Panel. The proposals were endorsed by the Panel on the 22nd January 2016.

The force Freedom of Information Officer will assist the OPCC with any reviews/appeals that are received until the procedure can be reviewed and suitable amendments made.

The Gwent Police Choir provides support to numerous charitable causes across the country and provides a positive image of Gwent Police in the community and organisations they perform for.
