The Welsh Ministers have secured centrally retained capital funding for the Welsh national Traffic Data System project. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic data collection and dissemination capabilities on the trunk road, motorway network and key diversion routes.

The Commissioner has agreed to continue with the Scheme in order to provide protection to both the Police Dogs and the Police and to also provide reassurance to the community.

The Partnership Fund grant scheme is funded by the proceeds of crime and awarded to the police and from the sale of unclaimed, found property. Applications will be received between the 23rd May 2014 and the 30th June 2014.
