The grant is provided as part of the commissioning budget for 2015/16 on the basis that information is received by the OPCC to ensure the funding has been used effectively to support the priorities of the Police and Crime Commissioner as stipulated in the Police and Crime Plan.

The Fleet Management Strategy was discussed and approved at the Strategy and Performance Board on 26th May 2015.

The Collaborative reports covered the following areas: Joint Firearms Unit Welsh Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit Regional Organised Crime Unit Joint Scientific Investigation Unit The information contained in the Collaboration report has been subjected to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Data Protection Act 1998 and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent\'s public interest test and is deemed to be exempt from publication under section 7.

The Commissioner has been asked to approve the request to adopt the Joint Engagement Strategy with the Force. The Commissioner has a statutory responsibility to obtain the views of the community as set out in the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.
