The Commissioner and Chief Constable considered and approved the following options for inclusion within the Community Remedy process from 20th October 2014:* Reparation to damage caused e.g. repairing damage to property, cleaning graffiti, returning stolen property etc.* Paying for the damage caused to be repaired of for the property stolen to be replaced.* A verbal or written apology.* Restorative Justice/Shuttle Conference

Following a public application process to the Fund throughout May and June 2014, the Funding Adjudication Panel undertook a rigorous assessment of all bids received.

On the 31st July 2014, the Startegic Commissioning Board approved the proposal to develop a multi-agency Victim and Witness Care Hub for Gwent.

The Commissioner agreed to award the contract for the provision of a new command and control system to Tenderer B (Steria) following the completion of a Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) process. The contract is awarded for three years with the option to extend for two additional annual periods.

The Memo is a public building and is accessible to all members of the local community. It will be utilised by the Newbridge Neighbourhood Team compromising of one Police Constable and one Community Support Officer.

In January 2013, the Commissioner decided to implement a stop and search dip-sampling procedure to be undertaken on his behalf by a dip-sampling group (Decision Log Number PCCG-2013-001) consisting of members from the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) who undertake the exercise as members of the community. A total of 157 stop and search records, selected at random, were examined during the exercise with the results fed back to the Force.
