1. The recorded uptime statistics (including any percentage availability metrics held) for the period 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.
2. A detailed list of all IT system outages occurring within the same period where the duration of the outage exceeded one hour. For each outage, please include:
• Date of occurrence
• Start and end time (or total duration)
• A brief description of the nature of the outage, if recorded

Youth Crime ( age 0-17 years) statistics 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act ( FOI) I request disclosure of the following data:

1. Crime Reporting and Outcomes: For each calendar year commencing 2023, please provide an itemised breakdown in respect of children in Gwent (age 0-17 years) of the following data:

. The aggregate number of reported criminal offences 

. In respect of the reported offences, the number subject to formal investigation 

. Of the offences investigated, the number subsequently referred to the Crown Prosecution Service for consideration of charges

. Of the offences referred for prosecution, the number that culminated in a conviction in the Youth Court/ Crown Court 

2. Offence Categorisation:  For the data provided in response to question 1, please provide a further disaggregation by:

. Number and proportion of proven offences committed by children by offence group ( the statutory categorisation of the offence e.g violence with injury, violence without injury, rape, other sexual offences ) 

3. Case Closure Rates : 

Please specify the proportion of reported offences that are closed without the filing of formal charges. Further please provide a breakdown of the principal reasons for such closures ( e.g. insufficiency of evidence ,withdrawal of complaint by the aggrieved party) and where alternative out of court disposals were utilised,  the number that culminated in out of court disposals and a breakdown of the type of those out of court disposals( e.g youth causation, youth conditional causation, youth restorative disposal) .

1. All communications, decisions, records, meeting minutes, internal or external correspondence, and documented reasons regarding any approaches, requests, invitations or proposals received by your force to participate in or lead an independent investigation into the original police inquiry in the Emma Caldwell case (originally investigated by Strathclyde Police).

2. Please provide the reasons your force did not agree to undertake or assist with an investigation into the original Police Scotland (Strathclyde) inquiry in that case, including any resource, legal, policy, jurisdictional or other considerations.
3. Please provide copies of any internal review or analysis undertaken by your force in relation to whether it could assist with or take on any part of that investigative work.
4. Please also provide any guidance, policies, or procedures your force uses when considering whether to assist or take on investigative work outside your own territorial jurisdiction.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide the following information:

1. Crime Recording Policy: A copy of the current Gwent Police internal policy or SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) regarding the recording of crimes under the National Crime Recording Standard (NCRS).
2. Threshold for Recording: Any internal guidance provided to the Professional Standards Department (PSD) that specifies the evidentiary threshold required to record a crime. Specifically, does Gwent Police policy require "points to prove" to be evidenced prior to a crime being recorded, or does it follow the NCRS "Balance of Probabilities" test based on the victim’s report?
3. Offences Against the State: Any specific policy documents relating to the recording of "Offences Against the State" (e.g., Perverting the Course of Justice / Misconduct in Public Office).
4. Exhibit Loss Protocol: The Gwent Police policy regarding the procedure to be followed when a "High Value" or "Evidential" exhibit (such as a mobile phone) is lost while in police custody, including the requirement to report such loss as a potential crime (Theft or Misconduct).

This request covers a 15-year period.

It has two parts:

1. Please confirm the number of serving and retired police officers who, within the last 15 years, have held or currently hold a firearms certificate or a shotgun certificate.
2. Of that group, please confirm:
   a) How many, if any, were subject to an allegation of excessive use of force while serving; and
   b) Whether any such allegations had an impact on the decision to grant or renew a shotgun certificate.

I request the following recorded information, covering the current financial year (2025/2026) or the most recently concluded full financial year (2024/2025).

For each Local Authority/County Council areas within the Police Force's jurisdiction, please provide a breakdown of the following:

1.The total number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) currently commissioned or funded for delivery in that specific county.

2.The total number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) currently commissioned or funded for delivery in that specific county.

3.The total number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Young People's Violence Advisors (YPVAs) / Children's IDVAs (ChIDVAs) / Children and Young People's Domestic Abuse Support Workers currently commissioned or funded for delivery in that specific county.

4.For the support workers listed in question 3, please specify the minimum age at which they can offer direct one-to-one support to a child.

5. For the figures provided in (1), (2), and (3), please specify the commissioning organisation that delivers the post (e.g., DASU, Directly from LA, Llamau, etc.) and the commissioning method (e.g., directly commissioned by OPCC, jointly funded with Local Authority/Health Board, or other).
