The value of spend through Edenred for the two (2) months extension will be approximately £34,000.

The Independent Custody Visiting Scheme is a statutory Scheme under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act Part 3 Section 299 whose responsibility and oversight lies with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, in consultation with the Chief Constable.

The extension is requested in line with the manual of Governance, Part 3e Standing Orders Relating to Contracts, Paragraph 121.

Tenderer A scored the highest following the completion of a Most Economically Adventageous Tendered (MEAT) process under the Crown Procurement Service (CCS) Framework Agreement RM1557vii - G-Cloud 7.The contract is awarded for twelve (12) months with the option to extend for a further twelve (12) months. The contract is for use by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent and Dyfed Powys.

The Commissioner has a duty to hold the Chief Constable to account for the delivery of equality and diversity matters within the force.
