Police and Crime Commissioner congratulates student officers
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd has congratulated 50 student police officers who formally graduated this week.
Now that the officers have completed their training they will be deployed with policing teams across Gwent’s five counties.
They join a further 70 student officers who graduated in July.
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd said: “By becoming a police officer you are showing a real commitment to public service and dedication to your community. These officers have all worked incredibly hard and I am sure that they will continue this hard work to make Gwent a safer place for us all.
“I am in the process of developing my Police and Crime Plan which will set out my policing priorities for Gwent and these officers will play a crucial part in delivering this. They should be proud of the part that they will now play in making a difference to our communities and keeping them safe, and I wish them all the best in their careers.”
