Blaenau Gwent residents’ concerns put to Chief Constable

Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd held her latest Public Accountability Forum with Chief Constable Mark Hobrough to discuss issues affecting communities in Blaenau Gwent.

The Commissioner’s Public Accountability Forum gives Commissioner Mudd a platform to highlight key concerns raised by communities across Gwent and bring them directly to the attention of the Chief Constable.

The latest forum was recorded at the iconic Llanhilleth Miners Institute and included questions about off-road biking in Brynmawr, anti-social behaviour in Tredegar, and theft in Abertillery. It is available to view on the Commissioner’s website and social media channels.

Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd said: “The Public Accountability Forum is an important way for residents to put their questions and concerns directly to the Chief Constable.

“By having open, honest and transparent conversations, we can make sure local voices are listened to and that communities have a meaningful role in shaping policing across Gwent.”
