The Commissioner has agreed to continue with the Scheme in order to provide protection to both the Police Dogs and the Police and to also provide reassurance to the community.

The Partnership Fund grant scheme is funded by the proceeds of crime and awarded to the police and from the sale of unclaimed, found property. Applications will be received between the 23rd May 2014 and the 30th June 2014.

The information contained in the report has been subjected to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Data Protection Act 1998 and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent's public interest test and is deemed to be exempt from publication under section 7.

Under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011, I am required to publish a Police and Crime Plan that sets out my objectives for Gwent. In order to ensure delivery of these objectives and allow monitoring of prohress, the Force has produced a Delivery Plan.

The Commissioner has been asked to approve the framework for the provision of national driver rehabilitation courses in accordance with paragraph 85 of the Police and Crime Commissioner\'s Manual of Governance. Tenderer E scored the highest following the completion of a Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) process.

The Commissioner has been asked to approve the request to extend the current contract with TTC Group Ltd for the provision of driver education offender rehabilitation scheme(s) for one month in accordance with paragraph 125 of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent Manual of Governance.

Under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011, the Commissioner is required to produce, for each financial year, an Annual Report that highlights how the Commissioner has been carrying out his role and the progress that has been made in meeting the police and crime plan objectives as set out within the Police and Crime Plan for Gwent.

The Commissioner is satisfied that the issues raised by the Welsh Language Commissioner on the Welsh Language monitoring report for 2012/13 have been responded to appropriately.
