Youth Question Time 2023

I was delighted to meet with young people from youth forums across Gwent to discuss their plans for next year’s Youth Question Time.

 

Youth Question Time provides young people with an opportunity to ask myself, the Chief Constable of Gwent Police, and panellists from a range of organisations questions about the issues that are important to them.

 

The session, which was coordinated by my office, led to a series of thought-provoking discussions about many issues including policing in Gwent, the cost-of-living crisis and how it will affect access to services for young people and the impact social media has on young people’s mental health.

 

The themes that have been identified by the group, will be shared via an online survey with other young people from across Gwent, to gain a better understanding of what matters to young people. The results of the survey will influence panelists for the event.
