Support for students at the start of term

My team has been busy during the start of the school term, supporting Coleg Gwent at a series of freshers events.

These events are a good opportunity to talk to students about their experiences with policing and are an important way in which we ensure young people’s voices are heard and form part of our decision making.

It is also a good opportunity to promote policing, either as a police officer, community support officer, or a member of staff, as a possible career. For more information on police roles visit the Gwent Police website.
