New Inn Primary Heddlu Bach

I was delighted to meet pupils from New Inn Primary to hear about their achievements during their time as Heddlu Bach.

I was pleased to see a very proactive approach to community safety.

Pupils told me about the wide range of issues that they have been raising awareness of in the school and the local community by working alongside local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Pupils took the opportunity to ask me a range of questions about my role and responsibilities.

It was a pleasure to hand out ‘passing out’ certificates to the group as a gesture of thanks for their hard work during the year.

I really enjoy these sessions. They help me understand what is important to children and young people, which helps shape the work of both my team and Gwent Police.

I would like to thank pupils, staff and NXT Gen team who have supported the group.
