The recommendations within the proposal support the delivery of my statutory duty to commission local services for victims.

The Commissioner agreed to award the contract for the provision of cleaning service to Tenderer A (Berendsen UK Ltd) in accordance with paragraph 81 of the Manual of Corporate Governance following the completion of a Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) process.

In January 2013, the Commissioner decided to implement a stop and search dip-sampling procedure to be undertaken on his behalf by a dip-sampling group (Decision Log Number PCCG-2013-001) consisting of members from the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) who undertake the exercise as members of the community. A total of 157 stop and search records, selected at random, were examined during the exercise with the results fed back to the Force.
