A national theatre company will be utilised to perform a play on the issues of CSE to year 8 pupils in 36 secondary schools in Gwent. Each of the schools has also committed £350 of funding to the total cost of the project which is £23,622. SEWCSB will need to ensure that the shortfall in funding is met.

Information will be received to ensure that the grant funding has been used effectively to provide a service that supports the Police and Crime Plan priorities.

Schedule 1(6)(1)(a) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 requires the Commissioner to apooint a person to the the head pf the Commissioner's staff.

The Community Safety Fund exists to assist organisations involved in activities that reduce crime and anti-social behaviour or divert people away from related activity.

The cost of funding the post for 25 hours per week for 6 months is £8,100.00.

Treasury Management covers borrowing, investing, banking and cash flow management.The Commissioner is required to adopt and comply with the CIPFA Prudential Code for Capital Finance in Local Authorities and the CIPFA Code of Practice on Treasury Management. The Treasury Management Strategy 2014/15 to 2016/17 and the Treasury Management Practices have been agreed in order to comply with the codes.

The Independent Custody Visiting Scheme is a statutory Scheme under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act Part 3 Section 299 whose responsibility and oversight lies with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, in consultation with the Chief Constable.

The evaluation will be undertaken by Loughborough University who have already been appointed by the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner to undertake an evaulation of a similar project. The cost for inclusion in the evaluation programme is £3,000.00 which will be paid from the Community Safety Fund.

The Commissioner accepts and notes the annual monitoring report and commends it to the Welsh Language Commissioner.
