Youf Gang plant trees to mark jubilee

I was pleased to see members of the Shaftsbury Youf Gang visiting Cwmbran during half term, supporting the Lord Lieutenant of Gwent to plant trees to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Ten children aged seven to 13 worked hard to plant more than 100 trees, followed by an afternoon of sports and other activities.

The Shaftsbury Youf Gang is a huge asset to the community, offering children and young people the opportunity to try new experiences, make new friends, develop new skills and build their confidence.
