Yemeni Welsh Festival

On Sunday, my team, along with officers and staff from Gwent Police, attended the Newport Yemeni Community Association, Yemeni Welsh Festival.

The event celebrated both Yemeni and Welsh cultures with a range of activities for the whole community.

Later in the day visitors listened to the very talented voices of Caldicot Choir echo through the park.

I am pleased to support the Newport Yemeni Community Association. I provide funding for Saturday night football sessions which, like this event, builds trust and relationships within the community.
