Out and about

This week my team have been out across Gwent, visiting communities in Abertillery, Blaenavon, Pontypool, Caldicot, Newport and Pontllanfraith.

As well as listening and talking to residents about local issues they have also been conducting a short survey to understand people’s views on the police budget for 2023/24.

It is my responsibility to set the amount of money you pay towards policing through your council tax. This is always a difficult decision to make, and it is not one I take lightly.
