Out and about
My team were out and about across Gwent last week, speaking to hundreds of residents in Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Newport.
They visited family fun days in Springfield and Caldicot town centre, an antisocial behaviour engagement session in Blackwood, and the Reggae and Riddim Festival at Tredegar House in Newport, which was organised by our partners at Urban Circle.
We were joined by partner organisations including Gwent Police, Cyfannol, Caerphilly County Borough Council, Fearless and South Wales Fire and Rescue.
As well as talking to residents about the issues that matter to them, we also took the opportunity to ask for their views on police facilities.
Gwent Police’s Estate Strategy is being reviewed to ensure that police premises are sustainable, affordable and fit to deliver modern day policing.
