Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent receives top award
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Gwent has received a national award for transparency for the sixth year in a row.
The 'Open and Transparent' Quality Mark is awarded to Police and Crime Commissioner’s Offices which can demonstrate that they provide the public with key information, in accessible formats, on their website.
It is awarded by Comparing Police and Crime Commissioners, an independent national body that monitors police governance.
Police and Crime Commissioner Jeff Cuthbert said: “I am delighted that my office has had its commitment to transparency with the public recognised for another year.
“This award demonstrates that my team are doing their very best to conduct business openly and honestly, and to ensure that key information is made available to residents in an accessible way.”
