This week the Criminal Justice Board for Wales published its annual report.

The Criminal Justice Board for Wales brings together criminal justice partners to review outcomes and experiences for those who encounter the Criminal Justice System in Wales.

Working in partnership is vital to providing justice for victims, witnesses, and offenders.

I am pleased to see that the report showcases the innovative approach to protecting witnesses and victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence. The newly instated Safe Live Video Link Facilities in Wales help the most vulnerable to provide evidence in court proceedings in safe settings. I am pleased that we have a Safe Live Video Link Facility here in Gwent.
