Black History Wales Youth Awards

 

Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd joined partners to celebrate the annual Black History Wales Youth and Community Awards at the Senedd.

The awards celebrate the achievements of young people in Wales and highlights the positive impact they are making to their community.

They were supported by Wales’s four Police and Crime Commissioners as part of their sponsorship of Black History 356.

Commissioner Jane Mudd presented one of many awards to young people from communities across Wales. She said: “It was a privilege to represent Wales’s Police and Crime Commissioners and support our partners at Black History Wales and Race Council Cymru at these annual awards.

“These young people are an inspiration, and it was fantastic to hear so many wonderful stories about the contributions they are making to life across Wales. Well done to everyone who was nominated for an award, and especially well done to the winners for such an amazing achievement.”
