Welsh Language Rights Day 2022

You have a right to receive Welsh language services from public organisations in Wales. The Welsh Language Commissioner is responsible for setting and enforcing Welsh language standards.

The Chief Constable and I have a Welsh language strategy that sets out how both Gwent Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will comply with these standards.

I also have dedicated Welsh language channels so that Welsh speakers can stay up to date with news from my office in their preferred language.
