Together we can keep children, young people and adults safe
It is now more important than ever that we look out for each other, I am pleased to see that Welsh Government has launched a new campaign to encourage people to contact social services if they are worried that a family member, friend or neighbour who is at risk of abuse, neglect and harm.
Protecting our communities from abuse and violence is vitally important and a priority of both my office and Gwent Police. I urge communities to be aware and understand how they can help if they suspect anyone is at risk or in danger.
We are lucky here in Gwent to have a wide range of services on hand to help.
Safe Help website https://gov.wales/safe-help/keeping-people-safe has more information about local social services and how to raise your concerns. If your call is more urgent dial 101, or in emergency call 999
