Supporting the National Volunteer Police Cadet Quiz

We were pleased to support the third National Volunteer Police Cadet Quiz, which was hosted this year by Gwent Police.

More than 60 Volunteer Police Cadets from across the UK joined cadets from Gwent for a quick-fire interactive quiz.

There are currently 145 Volunteer Police Cadets in Gwent. The scheme enables young people aged between 13 and 18 to be become more aware of policing and its role in communities.

It also embeds an ethos of positive citizenship that is vital to becoming a well-rounded adult and helps to build strong foundations for a positive future.

Thank you to all the Volunteer Police Cadets for taking part, and to Gwent Police’s NXT Gen team which has been invaluable in encouraging young people in Gwent to become cadets.
