Protect your bike

This week my team joined Gwent Police’s We Don’t Buy Crime officers at Newport train station to offer free forensic marking to cyclists.

Bikes and e-bikes are common targets for theft and, by marking them forensically, Gwent Police are making them less attractive to thieves and disrupting the criminal supply chain.

My priority is to keep neighbourhoods safe and the We Don’t Buy Crime initiative is tackling acquisitive crime – that is where the offender profits directly from the crime – in our communities. For more information visit the Gwent Police website.
