PCC visits Woodland Wonderland event
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd recently visited volunteers at the Sirhowy Hill Woodlands Nature Reserve to show her support for their Woodland Wonderland event.
The volunteers manage woodland areas across Blaenau Gwent and organise litter picks, wellbeing days, and activities for children.
The event encouraged visitors to take part in a variety of fun games and activities designed to increase their understanding of the rural environment.
Jane Mudd said: “It was lovely to meet the volunteers and to see how hard they work for the benefit of their community.
“Their dedication to protecting and enhancing our natural spaces is truly inspiring, and events like this play a vital role in bringing communities together, connecting people with nature and promoting wellbeing.”
