Gwent Police awards 2025

Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd joined police officers and staff for Gwent Police’s annual force award ceremony.

The awards recognise those police officers and staff who have gone above and beyond their call of duty to protect and reassure the people of Gwent.

Commissioner Mudd presented the Police and Crime Commissioner Partnership Award to community support officer Lisa Gibbs for her work to tackle issues of domestic abuse and violence in the Caerphilly borough.

She said: “It’s always an honour to be part of events that celebrate outstanding police work that saves lives and makes our communities safer.

“Gwent Police’s officers and staff consistently go above and beyond, working under immense pressure and challenging circumstances to serve the public, often at great personal risk.

“Taking time to recognise their dedication is important and I would like to thank them all on behalf of the people of Gwent for their service.”
