Engaging communities
This week we were invited to present to the Cwmbran Over 50s Forum, and talk to residents at a coffee morning in Pandy Village Hall, Abergavenny.
It was an opportunity to explain the work of the office, as well as giving residents the chance to talk about any issues in their area. We also discussed the police budget for 2024/25 and residents were able to complete our survey which will influence the final decision on the budget to be taken in early 2024.
Police and Crime Commissioners are required to regularly engage the public to inform the decision making process and visits like this are just one of the ways we ensure that residents have their views heard. If you would like us to visit your group, please contact the office.
