Caldicot 999 Day

I was pleased to join my team at Caldicot 999 Day on the weekend.

It was a very busy event and we spoke to hundreds of people over the course of the day.

As well as a fun day out for the family, there is a serious side to events like this. They allow residents to meet the real people ‘behind the badge’ that have dedicated their lives to keeping communities safe.

The event is organised by community volunteers, and I commend everyone who made the day possible.
