Brynmawr Town Council meeting

I joined Inspector Shane Underwood from Gwent Police for a meeting with Brynmawr Town Council this week.

We had a positive discussion about some of the issues in the town which include problem parking and off-road biking. Inspector Underwood’s team have been doing a lot of work to address the issue of illegal off-roading, but it is an incredibly hard crime to police. If you have information about someone who is off-roading illegally then please report it via 101, or Gwent Police’s social media channels.

We also raised with councillors the need for better youth provision in the Brynmawr area. I am pleased that they are going to work with us going forward to identify local groups and venues which may be able to assist.
