The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has agreed to extend the tenure from 2022 to 2023 for some of the Independent Custody Visiting scheme members

As two experienced members of the have recently decided to resign from the Independent Custody Visiting scheme, the tenure will be extended by a further year to 2023 for three of the volunteers whose tenure was due to end in 2022, this will allow the Commissioner's office the time to recruit and train new volunteers whilst retaining existing experienced volunteers.
