The PCC Police Community Fund grant scheme has been created to target the monies received through the Proceeds of Crime Act and from the sale of unclaimed, found property, so that we support organisations in some of the most disadvantaged areas in Gwent.

Organisations / groups interested in bidding for a share of the £300,000 annual funding must be able to demonstrate the positive impact their project will have on the communities they serve. The Fund is targeted at supporting organisations/groups seeking to help children and young people who may be in danger of entering the criminal justice system or have become victims. Projects will need to deliver against the priorities in the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan. Fundamental to these projects is the role of Neighbourhood Policing in engaging with organisations to achieve the work required. Groups will be able to apply for funding from £10,000 up to and in the region of £50,000.
