Gwent Public Service Board
Introduced under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act, Public Service Boards (PSBs) were established to improve partnership working between public services in each Local Authority area in Wales.
There is one PSB in Gwent.
PSBs consist of statutory and invited members. Statutory members are: Local Authorities, Local Health Boards, Fire and Rescue Authorities and Natural Resources Wales; invited members include Chief Constables, Police and Crime Commissioners and voluntary organisations.
The Commissioner and his Chief Executive attend the PSB meeting, collaborating with partners to promote community safety and support work that delivers on the five priorities in the Police and Crime Plan.
