The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has agreed to award £181,000 of grant funding to the Newport Live Positive Futures programme for the financial year 2021/22.

The funding will be provided to Newport Live who currently leads on coordinating the delivery of the Positive Futures Programme, for sports based diversionary activity for children and young people at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system in Gwent.
